The bbk berlin asks for support: Key demands on the cultural budget in the budget negotiations for the years 2020/2021:
Dear artists, dear colleagues,
It’s not too late yet! The bbk berlin wants to submit a signature / supporters list to the Main Committee of the Berlin House of Representatives, which makes the relevant preliminary decisions on the state budget, in order to once again express the central demands of the visual artists on the cultural budget 2020/2021.
Central requirements are:
• 350 regular annual work and research grants for the visual arts.
• Create 700 new studios quickly – immediate action studio program.
• More staff for workshops and offices.
If you would like to support this project, please send an e-mail to info@bbk-berlin.de until the 13/10/2019 with the following text (subject: signature list):
„I agree that my full name will be published on the signature / supporters list of the bbk berlin and this list will be passed on to the members of the Main Committee of the Berlin House of Representatives.”
